Another year older & wiser...?? And lots of catch up!

So I had every intention of doing this post on my birthday...problem is something was up with google because I couldn't even get logged on, I have tried several times since then and nothing, finally today I was able to get logged in!!  So I decided back on the 22nd of June reflecting on turning another year older and what the last year had been like and I came to the conclusion that I needed to change my attitude about life, now I'm not saying that it's going exactly how I had hoped, but I guess that's where the Wiser??? part comes in.  Sometimes knowledge and being wiser isn't that great at all I've decided.  Maybe not knowing is the better way??  I don't know??? All I know is that I learned a lot of things this year about myself that I honestly didn't know!  It's amazing what you learn about yourself through others, and from what I hear I have a lot of things to work on, so that's when it hit me...this year I have to not let things get to me so much and just change the way I think about things.  So that's my resolution for my birthday year you could say!  3 weeks in and I'm struggling, but I am trying to be more aware of it and I just need to buck up and get over it!!   Ok that's it for my pity birthday party!    I can't believe how long it's been since I actually blogged, so lots of catching up in a short amount of time because who know's how long I will be able to stay on here before it wacks out!  Things have been crazy busy the past few months!  Jentry, Shelby & Bubba all played up a grade this year on accelerated basketball teams, and of course they all played on Saturdays in different locations,  guess I'm getting "broke in"  to what things are going to be like for the next few years.  Austin turned 15 and has his learners permit and I think already has all his driving time in!  He never lets me drive anymore :)  He played club volleyball for Timpview again this spring and did really well, they made it to the state tournament, didn't play their best as a team at state, which also was on a saturday when the girls were playing volleyball :/  haha the joys!  But he loves volleyball and had a great time.  Jentry played up with the 8th graders in basketball and volleyball this spring, she finished up 7th grade by being elected as Student Body President for middle school next year!  Shelby also played up on the 7th grade basketball team, and then played accelerated volleyball as well.  I'm proud to say our girls city volleyball team won the Championship for the 2nd year in a row!  Bubba played up with the 6th graders this spring on an accelerated basketball team, and did extremely well when he did get to play!  They had 15 on the team so he being the youngest didn't get to play alot but when he did, he showed them what he's got!  He will now get to take over the elementary as the big bad 6th grader!!  Shelby & Bubba also owned the elementary track meet, I think I have a couple more track stars on my hands.  They have all been gone a lot this summer, between volleyball, basketball, football & girls camp it's been quiet at times at my house :)   Shyanne returned home from Virginia finishing her sophmore year of college, wow that just seems weird to say,  but not as weird to say she is getting MARRIED!!!  Yep that's right Shy is engaged!  Don't know when the wedding is yet, but it's in the works!!!  I know it's a quick update, (sort of) and all jumbled together but it's what I could do.
