New Years Resolution...keep up on my BLOG! well thats already down the toilet

Sorry but this will be a pretty long post seeing as how its been months since I last updated my blog, I apologize, as you can tell from my title of this post, things haven't been going as planned, so this is my attempt to catch up about 5 months time in one post, and hopefully move forward from here and do better. So here goes.... Fall brought about a major change in our family by having SHYANNE move out to Virginia to attend Southern Virginia University. She did awesome as an outside hitter for their volleyball team, earned a starting position as a freshman, earned several awards and gained new friendships. She was able to take a weekend trip to Washington DC while she was out east and had a great time. She has now transferred to Southern Utah University for spring semester for a few different reasons and is settling into life in Cedar City. She isn't sure what she will be doing fall semester as of yet, she is exploring her "options" but most importantly is awaiting the arrival of her MISSIONARY who will be home in June. AUSTIN started 8th grade and is doing really good in his classes (which is making life alot easier for me) He still has his herd of sheep and is now raising chickens as well. He made the volleyball team for the middle school and has just started tournaments, they went undeafeated Saturday in their first tournament! JENTRY turned 12 in September and loves being in young womens. Her soccer team took first place in the region tournament, and she was the highest goal scorer on her team for the season. She rocked in flag football and showed all the boys that anything they can do she can do better! Now she has turned her focus to basketball season where she was asked to come and play on the middle school 7th grade team. SHELBY is sweet as ever. She turned 11 in december and loves her cowgirl boots that she got for her birthday. She played her first year of flag football this year and did really well! She continues to get straight A's in school!!! Shelby also has started the basketball season, and has amazed all of us with her skills this year! She has gone from being totally clueless to being one of the top scorers on the team and defenders as well. She keeps us laughing all the time with her crazy humor (she named her belly button STEVE) so as you can see never a dull moment. BUBBA well what can I say he's Bubba. He pretty much dominates in every sport he played this fall and winter. He played quarterback for his flag football team and amazed everyone with his arm and also running abilities, especially considering he was one of the youngest players on the field. He now also is playing basketball and is definately the "go to guy" When he isn't playing sports he is usally watching them on TV! He loves BYU and says he is playing football for them when he gets older. He has also found a new love for the Jazz watching games with me, of course except when they play the Lakers! Our FAMILY obviously stays busy and i love every second of it! I am however starting to get a taste of how crazy life is going to be with 4 close in age and trying to get everyone where they need to be and support them in those activities as well. We enjoyed going to a BYU football game as a family this fall (thanks to a very generous cousin!) The kids have all enjoyed snowboarding this winter with all our FEET of snow! We had a great & crazy holiday season, we were able to go to temple square and spend time with family, but honestly I was glad to see it end and get back to what we as a family call normal. If your still reading at this point I am happy you were able to stay with us, below are pics from the last few months, sorry there are so many but when you have 5 kids, and dont blog for 5 months this is what happens :/ So hopefully from here on out I will be able to stick to my resolution!
