Back to School!

A moms 3 most favorite words...back to school! Just kidding! I do like getting back to a routine though. This year was a little different, because Austin actually started the day before the rest of them, but we still did a group photo, figured it was close enough. Austin started high school! Yes he is a freshman if you can believe that! He was pretty nervous the first day, so nervous that he couldn't even eat breakfast, and he eats all the time, so what does that tell you? I seriously thought he was going to puke when we pulled up to the high school! lol But he made it through and says it's pretty good! Jentry is in 7th grade, so she made the big move to the middle school, she had a few nerves, but nothing major and was exclaiming how "AWESOME" middle school is when she got home. Shelby & Bubba are the big kids on campus at the elementary, Shelby in 6th and Bubba in 5th, both of them like their teachers and say so far so good. And since SHY can't seem to send her mom any pics...(yes that is a hint shy!) I will just tell you that she is a sophmore in college attending Southern Virginia University again, where she is playing volleyball for the Knights once again! Hopefully I will get some updates from her! So here's to a great new school year!!!

Quick Catch Up

Summer is almost over, I have completely failed at my attempt to do better at blogging. So to be perfectly honest, I just haven't really felt like blogging, and although there have been a few good things this summer, it's mostly been a very difficult summer full of disappointment of things that should have been, let downs, hurt, tears, confusion, frustration stress, stress & more stress, needless to say things have not turned out like I thought & had felt that they would. So I am actually glad summer is coming to an end, (as long as this doesn't carry over into fall)....and because of all of this I have realized that I have been terrible at getting pictures this summer! I only took a handful of pics from Jentry & Shelby's softball games, and I have managed to either misplace, or delete baseball pics of Bubba. Whew!!! I will now get off my soapbox, and try to look forward to a new school year and happier days. Below are a few of the pics of the girls that I actually did take....ENJOY
