Oh what do you do in the summertime?

Wow I am beyond slacking off when it comes to blogging, maybe because summer is so busy!! So i figured i would do one big quick blog of the summer! We spent the first part going to baseball & softball games, tennis lessons and parades, then ended with a fun family campout at Gunnison res for some skiing, kneeboarding, wakeboarding & tubing! And a great 4 wheeler ride along the skyline drive.

Hawaii Trip

Ok so back in December when I asked Shy what she would like for graduation she said she would like for her and I to go to Hawaii. At first I thought yeah right what is she smoking? But then I decided why the heck not, if I get a good tax return I might as well use it for something that I will actually be able to remember what it went for, so we did it! We left 2 days after her high school graduation and spent a week in paradise! It was a great trip and I love that I was able to have this special us time before she leaves for college in August. We were joined by her best friend Kylee Blackham, her mom Nina and sister in-law Kali. It was a trip I will always fondly remember.

NSH GRADUATION

My little Shy Bug graduated from NSH May 28, 2010. Shy graduated with honors, as well as her many athletics achievements. I can't believe she has graduated and will now be moving on to college. I am so proud of her accomplishments, and I am so grateful for the young woman that she is. Congratulations Shy!!!

"S" Award

Tuesday night Shyanne was awarded with the prestigius "S" Award. This award is given to 15 graduating seniors at North Sanpete High School. Its is awarded on points that the student earns in all activities through out the 4 years of High School. It is also a service award for outstanding service at NSH. She was also awarded her Academic/Athletic Scholarship to SVU! Way to go Shy!
