North Sanpete's Outstanding Senior Athlete

Thursday morning in an assembly in front of the student body Shyanne was presented with the outstanding senior athlete award for 2009-2010! Her track coach Scott Butler was the one to award her with the plaque. Shy has worked very hard her 4 years of high school in ahtletics as well as in the classroom, and I couldn't be more proud of her! She is so deserving of this honor!

3 In a Row State 4X4 Champions

Nothing like starting and ending your senior year as a State Champion! This year was the 3rd straight state championship in the 4X4 for Shyanne! Although track is by far her least favorite sport, she excels in it, and even though is sometimes a struggle for her to want to do it, she always go's out competitive wanting to win! I really never thought that track would be a very fun sport to go and watch, but I have loved it! (maybe not the weather we have to endure during spring sports in Utah) but loved the sport and watching Shy be so successful in it! The kids that run track are such a great bunch of kids, there's never been the drama or cattiness in track that has been in the other sports she has participated in and therefore and made the experience definately one to have fond memories of. I again can't express enough how proud I am to have had the opportunity of having Shyanne for a daughter!

Shyanne & Coach Butler~ I can't even begin to tell you how much this coach has done for Shy and supported her in everything!

Shyanne ususally anchors the 4X4, but because she has such an amazing and fast start out of the blocks, she ran the first leg and gave our team a very commanding lead!

Ok so most of you know we are generally Jazz fans, but I do have a couple who thinks for themselves, that would be Bubba & Shyanne, they are definately Lakers fans (thanks Creed ;) Anyway, so Bubba decided he was taking his birthday money and buying what he wanted, so this is the end result! Even though the Lakers aren't my favorite team, I can't argue with him that they are a good team and Kobe is an excellent player! I love his love of sports, and that he sticks to his guns defending his teams!!!

Miss Mt Pleasant Pageant

It has been a very busy and nerve racking weekend, but full of fun and great experiences. Shyanne competed for Miss Mt Pleasant, and was named 1st attendant! She did an amazing job and was simply stunning! I am so proud of her and the young woman that she is. Shelby & Jentry also got to participate in the fesitivities since they are the reigning royalty for Lil Miss Mt Pleasant, Shelby since she is the queen got to perform at the pageant and did a wonderful job even though they cut off her song early UGH! Anyways I couldn't be prouder of all of my girls!

It's official I Have another teenager at my house! HELP Austin & Bubba both celebrated their birthdays (16th & 18th) We had a great family party and since my house is a house divided when it comes to BYU & UTAH they both got their team cakes!

Another Milestone! Shy's last High School Dance

Another Milestone has happened, Shy attended her last High School dance the Jr. Prom, and for those of you not familar with Prom at North Sanpete, it is a 2 night event! She had a great time and looked absolutely beautiful both nights!

We had a great Jr. Jazz season, well with the exception that Austin didn't get to play other than the first game, which of course I did not have my camera with. But they played great and learned alot! And my little team of girls finished in 2nd place, not bad considering we were the youngest team!!!
